Flawless for the price we paid. Rooms are comfortable and Wifi signal is good throughout. Modern facilities and helpful staff who were very good at making sure all was fine, and helped with organising trips and things.
The breakfast is AWESOME!!

Kolab Sor is a great hotel. The staff at the front desk will do their best to help you with anything you need. The rooms are cozy and clean. The bathroom is a very nice western bathroom with shower. There is a tv in every room with plenty of channels in lots of languages. The roof top bar has great views of the city (though the food is not too great and is overpriced for what you get). Sitting up there for a beer after a long day is just the ticket. I thought the location was distant when I first arrived but if you walk in the right direction you can be on a street with plenty of restaurants and bars in just a few blocks. It is further to get to some of the main attractions though, so you will need a tuk tuk for that. But bars, restaurants, and shops are all very close! I would recommend to anyone who wants a clean place at a decent price.

Location of this hotel is conveniently located in Phnom Penh city centre. Compared to the generally run down environment in the city, this hotel is a gem - the design is modern, the rooms are nice and clean, there is hot water in the bath, there is a lift, and wifi is working. Breakfast is also a pleasant surprise for a small hotel when there is a actually a chef on site preparing different types of eggs cooked at your order.

There is also a pretty nice sky bar but unfortunately we arrived at midnight and it's closed, and we left the next day before it opens again in the evening.

Price is very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend it.

Over-priced, and you can find a better deal nearby. Also, I was overcharged $20 (US) recently for meals that I did not eat (I never even visited therestaurant there in the hotel). Unfortunately, I didn't realize I had been overcharged until I had already checked out and left the city.

The hotel itself was fine, no issues with the cleanliness or the amenities, but the customer service I received was appalling! I had paid for the room the night before, using my credit card, then, when I tried to leave the following morning, I was told I had to pay. I explained the room had already been paid for, although the staff were unable to confirm this on their system, for some reason, unbeknownst to me. I refused to pay, as I had already paid, and I tried to leave the establishment. At this point, I was physically restrained by the staff, who demanded I pay for the room. I was quite clear on my position, until one of them mentioned calling the police, which, in this country is going to cost you money regardless of whether you're right or wrong, so I gave the man $30, in the street, outside the hotel, told him to forget about the $3 change, a I was very reluctant to step back inside the place, and went about my day, trying to find a phone charger to charge my phone, to show them I was clearly in the right. Upon completion of this task, I returned to the hotel to be met by a sea of smiling faces, as they had, in the interim period, realised their mistake. I asked them why I had to go through the whole ordeal in the first place, asked to speak to the manager, whom I was told was absent, got a copy of her business card, sent her a rather scathing email, to which I have not had a reply, nearly 24 hours later.

It's not good stay for me as fire accident occurred in 7th floor next to my room.
The reason for accident is air conditioners.
My laggage become wet and dirty.....for extinguish fire.
7th floor can't work as floor become dirty and wet.
We can change the room but we have to laundry my cloths as it become dirty.
Of course they wash all for free but we didn't feel good

We chose Kolab Sor accidently, but it was really a good choice. Clean rooms, friendly and professional stuff and excellent roof top made our stay very pleasant memory.
Room were spacious, bathroom as big and well equipped with small necessities. Buffet breakfast was good combination of local and western food.
Roof top restaurant/bar is something that should not be missed!

Do not ever stay here. Hotel itself looks lovely but i had Ā£700 cash stolen from the safe in the hotel room and my bags had been rifled through also. Hotel dont care in the slightest and just kept telling me no one could enter my room if i have the room key on me!!! Room was cleaned daily and strangely all recpetion staff knew our room number without ever having to ask us when we spoke to them....its a 9 story hotel and it was quite full occupancy. Ive stayed in much poorer places in the world and never experienced this.

Upside:
Hotel was refreshingly comfortable.
Rooms were too.
Tuk tuks are always on the standby offering a selection of private tours.
Front desk staff was courteous and helpful

Downside:
Buffet spread wasn't topped-up adequately
Not entirely wheelchair friendly as there were a flight of stairs to climb before we could reach the elevator.

I loved my stay and the hotel offered a nice welcoming vibe after a day of touring the hot and dusty city.

Kolab Sor is a really good hotel which represents very good value for money. The lobby is really nice and almost super stylish, and the room (Comfort Double) was spacious and had an awesome balcony. The complimentary buffet breakfast was much appreciated and provided many options. Overall I think this is a great hotel to stay at which is why my ratings are so high.

However, there were some small areas that the hotel could afford to work on. I had attempted to organise an airport pickup via email, but I simply never received a reply. And the hotel's driver that took me to the airport when I left didn't seem to know where to go within the airport and ended up causing a bit of a traffic jam because he was trying to get into the staff entry. Also, within the hotel, the staff were friendly but didn't really go the extra mile, which I experienced in other places in Cambodia.

Very annoyingly, the fridge would turn off when the power to the room was switched off, which is something that every hotel I've ever been to manages to overcome.

The location of the hotel is ok. There are a few food options around, but you'll need a tuk tuk for most places. But considering how much you pay for a room, the extra tuk tuk rides still mean you come out on top.
