We only stayed 1 night in this lovely, peaceful and relaxing hotel but we did stay in one of their very spacious suites, which was lovely! if you have to go to Vientiane (which has extremely little to offer) then make the Settha Palace your home away from home. Nice transformed mansion, with a distinct colonial feelings, friendly staff, well equipped rooms, pretty garden and pool, good restaurant. A peacuful place (in a sleepy town).

Looks great, but we really made a mistake coming here. Friendly staff, but they just assume you are loaded, which at the end of our trip, got rather dull.
