I visited in March 2013, and initially only booked for 2 days, and was wanting to book in to a hotel in Murree for one day but as we enjoyed the stay that much for the 2 days we were there, we decided to book another day. We visited for our honeymoon, and it was a really really good experience... More

I stayed here again after two years. Its a great hotel; the staff are all professional and helpful, the security, whilst rather evident, is very good (which is important here, sadly) and the range of outlets is very good. I ate at Dum Phukt which was very nice food and a lovely ambience. The executive lounge, rather strangely located on... More

The Marriot in Islamabad is located in an excellent location. If you are not from Pakistan, this is the place to stay. The security is tight (it has to be since the 2008 tragedy). The rooms are spacious, the restaurants are brilliant and the décor is just brilliant. Well worth the money, as I found that Serena was slightly more... More

I would rate this hotel 5 if not really bothered by the experience in the Japanese restaurant. Actually it was a great stay. The usual Marriot standard which is fine. Pakistan doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to 5 star hotels. Islamabad, being one of the smaller cities has only 2 hotels which categorize themselves as 5 star.
