This is a nice hotel, consistent, but a little unsure of how to be a first class hotel. Breakfast is decent, the bar on the first floor is adequate, but overpriced. Wifi is only available on the first floor in public areas. Hey, let's grow up and offer wi-fi in the rooms. The beds are above average, the bathroom is... More

Centrally located, with modern, comfortable rooms and very clean bathrooms: this is more than I expected by local standards and this is why I give it 5 stars. In short, it is a western European-style city hotel in the heart of Tashkent, and I don't think one needs more than this. If you must find something negative, the design is... More

We spent two nights in a comfortable quiet room on 4th floor, facing the courtyard. Spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water. Breakfast buffet was adequate. There were several groups of French and German tourists at the hotel, and a group of businessmen from Pakistan who were rather expansive and smoked heavily in their rooms, including on the non-smoking floor.... Former Le Meridien Hotel in modern building in central Tashkent failed to live up to first appearances. Large pleasant bedroom with well fitted ensuite bathroom let down by lack of hot water on both visits, at the beginning and end of holiday. Featureless dining room closed for breakfast on first visit, with a few pastries offered in bar before early... More

Situated opposite the spacious square of the Opera house, this 50-years-old hotel building promises a rexaxing stay. I think it was a good choise to draw the curtains down at the end of our 10 days tour in Uzbekistan. The beds are broad enough with good matresses, the carpets thick enough for tired feet.. The only problem was the exessive... More

I stayed here for the first and last nite of my tour. The first night was quite a large room, the second was smaller. Both were quite luxurious and comfortable. The hotel overlooks the square with the opera house and the first room I had was overlooking the square. Reception staff speak good english and there is a 24 hour... More

The rooms are rather comfortable, good for those who will not spend much time in them. I'm not sure whether there must have been one but in the room there was no kettle. Once a day you are given a complimentary bottle of water (a small one). So if you are to spend much time in the hotel you'd have... More

Faceless like the most star-rated hotels. The rooms are old-fashioned and not very large, but still comfortable, clean and quite. Windows could not be opened. Food was poor and drinks expensive ans sometimes warm, not really like the standard. Breakfast outside in the garden was okay. Service over all was good. The metro is in a walking distance (15 minutes).... More

Of the hotels in Tashkent, the Tashkent Palace is one of the (very) few that seems to get it right. For starters, its location is unparalleled. It is located just next to the Opera House and a few minutes walk to the main shopping drag of the city. The hotel itself is built in the European style and it shows... More
