The room was comfortable but the bathroom smelt disgusting - a damp, mouldy smell which permeated the entire suite. There was mould growing around the bath tub and on the shower curtains. We had a great stay at Villa Sphendone. It is in Sultanahmet but away from the crowds and noise. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff was very helpful and I recommend this small hotel for visitors to Istanbul.

The room was very clean, spacious and charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they had tickets for some historical places, so we didn't need to wait to get in. Perfectly located near the sea and the important places, we really enjoyed to stay there.
