I'd recommend #bunk hostel located in a quieter side street close to the busy Istiklal Street. I slept in a clean, four-bed female dorm. The breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly and there was free fast connection wifi.

I really enjoyed the night I spent here. It was clean and I felt safe. The option or an all female dorm was great! It was a little way out from the night life of Sultan. I'd consider staying here again, but I think I'd try stay a little closer to the night life next time I cannot fault anything... More

I stayed 3 nights in April 2013 with my sister, and we had a very good time...The location is great. Breakfast was great to full up on for the day. WiFi is free and fast. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly & helpful. Will stay here again on next visit !!!

I had a great time staying at #bunk. Excellent location near Istiklal street and plenty of bars,restaurant. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, towels changed daily and smell great :) Breakfast was great too. And of course staff super helpful. Thank you Mila for all the information and help. I would recommend it and stay here again.

Great place to stay. Small, but cozy, very clean and a nice sitting area, good deco and super friendly staff. The best place to stay in Istanbul. Near from Istiklal Street, cafes, pubs. Public transport not so far, if you travel in backpacker style and do not mind to take some walks. Staff are very friendly. Our blinds in room has been broken than nobody come to fix it all day. We slept with blinds. Rooms are so small and one bath is not enough for one floor. Location is amazing. You can inside taksim street in a second.
