Location! All of the biggest attractions in Sultanahmet are steps away from this hotel. Upon arrival, the attentive front desk person promptly gave us a map and pointed out things of interest nearby. Stayed here two times because of its proximity to the sites in Sultanamet. Rooms were basic, but clean. Air conditioning does not work in all rooms - opening the window is not an option because of the nearby street noise and calls to prayer in the early morning. This week we have been to Istanbul in Hotel Mina. Very kind people, good services, breakfast is very well and the room was very clean. From our room we had a good look over the Sea of Marmara. We can surely recomment this hotel in the middel of the old town.

Excellent location, in a quiet street but within walking distance from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and very close to the tramline. Good breakfast, with some traditional dishes. Rooms are indeed smaller, but clean and have everything you need, as most of the time you will be outside anyway.

The position of the hotel is excellent. Near to the center and to the main transport services. However, the room is small, its layout is inconvenient and most of the furniture need renovation (carpets are filthy and permanently dirty, bed is small, not adequate sitting/relaxing equipment. We stayed here mid March 2013. The hotel definitely provides a 3 - 4 star experience and is located only a few blocks from the Cemberlitas (just re-opened, at one end of the Grand Bazaar) and Sultanahmet tram stops.
