This hotel was a great find - very cheap and very nice. The location was perfect, 2 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast spread on the enclosed roof balcony overlooking the Bosphorus. I will definitely stay here when I return to Istanbul.

Be aware of the sometimes sharp drops in stairs and room entries particularly in the dark as they can be very hard on the body when carrying luggage. The warm welcome at reception, the helpfulness of staff, the French crepes at breakfast, and the calls to prayer make this a unique experience for the first time traveller to Turkey.

Small hotel, great location, close to everything. Felt very safe and at home. Oscar (forgot how to spell his name in turkish!) was the best. Typical local neighborhood we enjoyed. Not touristy. Nothing fancy but clean, cute and very good value.

A wonderful staff, a good basic room, exceptional European style breakfast served in a room with a stellar view of the Bosphorus. We had a wonderful stay! This hotel is in a great location as well, in walking distance from Blur Mosque, Grand Bazaar, many other historical sites and markets... decent restaurants. You won't regret choosing this hotel.
