For a short getaway in a group of friends, we choose SubHotel as our base in the Megacity of Istanbul. We can confirm all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. It's location close to historic hot spots and less touristic places is just perfect. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was organised by the hotel and worked absolutely fine.... More

This hotel is unique with lots of appeal. Additionally the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT I couldn't get one decent night's rest because of the construction going on outside my window in the middle of the night. Ask for a room away from the street and you will enjoy your experience.

We knew we wanted to stay in Beyoglu, close to restaurants and bars, as opposed to the heart of the old district where the major sights are. This hotel was the perfect balance. It was walkable from Sultanhamet just across the bridge. It was also a short walk from the train station and funiculars that went up the hill farther... More

SuB Hotel was amazing from start to finish. We arrived to delicious chocolate pots in our gorgeous room, slept like babies on the anti-stress bed, and awoke to friendly, attentive staff and a great breakfast. I love the decor, and the area (if you go exploring) is full of great bars and restaurants. Seriously though, the bed is something else....If... More

First, let me thank Sukru, Murat, Can, Ugur, and Nil for being totally delightful front desk hosts. (I hope I haven't left anyone out!) The dining room staff is also young, polite, and anxious to please. As multiple others have commented, the location is pretty perfect. We walked EVERYWHERE and loved being able to do so. Within a two to... More

Sub shines because of it's attention to decor detail and it's convenient location within striking distance of both Taksim and Sultanahmet. It feels every bit the boutique hotel it is. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfasts are great. It is, however, pretty noisy. It's located next to a busy road and therefore the sound of traffic is... More

Ideally located in the historic center of Istanbul, SuB hotel is a few steps away from Galata Bridge and enables you to walk easily to the main touristic areas. Staff is completely devoted to the satisfaction of the residents. The room arrangement is genuinely fashionable but may disconcert those with an inclination for a classic bourgeois comfort. Better be prepared... More

The price for this hotel it is entirely worth it. Good location and very cute lobby / restaurant area with excellent food. Very creative breakfast trays every day.The staff there were incredibly helpful and friendly. They really made our stay and helped us with dinner reservations each night. Warning: bring earplugs - it can be noisy with the traffic. Bathrooms... More

My girlfriend and I have just returned from Istanbul, staying for 4 nights at Sub Hotel. We found the hotel and the staff to be excellent and cannot fault any aspect of our stay. The hotel is very much design-led with stylish rooms of a good size with all the facilities you will need. Breakfast is a comprehensive buffet and... More
