Hotel Daphnis, one side facing the Golden Horn while the other Fener Street, is a combined building of 4 Rum houses renovated according to the original pattern. It is a boutique hotel with 16 rooms each one decorated differently. Everything in the building, from the kalemisler which are hand painted colored figures on the walls to the old style wooden doors, floor and ceilings are kept as original. Old water pumps, stained glass windows, marble sinks are still being used. There are 16 rooms consisting of 3 suite and 13 double bedrooms in which AC, minibar, telephone, shower, hairdryer, kettle and cable TV are provided in default. The hotel is just face to face with Fener Greek Orthodox Patriarchate and 10 minutes away from both Taksim and Sultanahmet districts. It is very close to the commercial, cultural and touristic centers (to the heart) of the city, however it is also situated in an old, quiet Istanbul district.
