Don't let the road works outside put you off, this is still a nice hotel with top notch restaurants. Although this is the same group as the Marmara Taksim, the quality and standard of service was far below the Marmara Taksim. Reception staff tend to answer the phone when they are in the middle of serving you!! Really annoying. They charge for parking despite seeing my car in the street most days!! We had a good experience at this hotel. Rooms are comfortable although bathrooms are relatively small. Breakfast is sizable and the staff is nice. Very nice rooftop bar with great views! Terribly consistent bad service from when we stepped out of the taxi to enter until we left. Rude front desk staff where you feel you are at the grand bazaar negotiating your way in and out.
