Well by Marriot standards it is not quite up to scratch. I can see that in 1980 visitors were probably impressed by the huge lobby and hanging lights etc. however, it looks a little tired now. Room service was OK though.....I can recommend the meat or seafood mix grills........tasty stuff. More

This is a large, centrally located hotel. It stays busy and the front desk always seems to be under siege. I stayed in Hotel Merriot in last jun and it seems it is too costly in comparison to excellence they have in their services. The room size and interior is good but services are not very good.
