I am not a frequent traveller to Riyadh, so I am not familiar with the hotels in this city. Coming on business, I found the hotel quiet poor in standard. The hotel room I am staying at was not properly cleaned ( a layer of dust on the furniture ), beds are very small, shower in the bathroom was rusty... More

Room service was good. The room was well-lit--the tiny window probably helps keep cooling costs low. One can walk for several miles down the central park strip (minding traffic, of course, at a few busy intersections. Beds were comfortable. More

Marriott Riyadh is an old hotel that is ready for a complete refurbishment. Two of the four elevators did not work and the other two sort of ramdomly come to the groundfloor. The rooms are small and dark with only a small window which often does not provide any view to the outside. The beds are good. The rooms opposite... More

Well by Marriot standards it is not quite up to scratch. I can see that in 1980 visitors were probably impressed by the huge lobby and hanging lights etc. however, it looks a little tired now. Room service was OK though.....I can recommend the meat or seafood mix grills........tasty stuff. More

Stayed here for 10 days. Standard Marriott rooms, beds are comfortable and linen good quality. Internet is expensive ($20 per day) as are Restaurants, where dishes are mostly in the $ 25 plus category. There is a gym and indoor pool, squash and tennis - men only. Staff - mostly expat - are friendly, helpful and professional. There are no... More

If you travel with a laptop and any kind of wifi device, be ready to pay a lot of money to do any work there. 80 Saudi Rials (about $20) for wired connection in your room. If you need wifi, like for your iPad, you have to get dressed and go down to the lobby (where there is a lot... More

This is a large, centrally located hotel. It stays busy and the front desk always seems to be under siege. The executive rooms are nice, but I had a very smoky room, there were even cigarettes for sale in the minibar! The service here is very good, the problem is that it is Saudi Arabia so things are very different.... More

This hotel has had some pretty critical and unjustified reviews. I had a great room on the third floor. It was pretty standard Marriott with a big, comfy bed that had great pillows and nice crisp white linen covers. A big flat screen TV and not one of those daft ones where it is 'built in', on this one it... More

I stayed in Hotel Merriot in last jun and it seems it is too costly in comparison to excellence they have in their services. The room size and interior is good but services are not very good. The location of hotel is close to various ministries and hence people need to visit closeby ministry can choose this hotel. More

Registration and check-out processes were fine, and I found the staff at the front desk to be much more service-oriented than some other Trip Advisor reviews indicated. (Service in the restaurant, however, was consistently lacking.) The room itself was "just OK". The bed was very comfortable and the linens of good quality and condition, but the room was small, dated... More
