We stayed here for a week, the kids really loved all the facilities in the hotel (especially the lazy river). The only thing is that the hotel sells "paradise for a day tickets" locally so on Oman weekend days (fri - sa) it can be crowded (taking pictures of you in your bathing suits....).

This place is a blend between Phuket and the Grand Canyon. Simply beautiful. Highly recommended. Not exactly close to the Muscat city center, but an easy taxi ride. Food was great, but not exactly cheap.

When I go to a Shangri-La resort, I always feel comfortable and pampered. Also in Oman, I had the same behaviours and results. A brand new resort in a lovely position, full of options to relax and living the "sea fun". I will come back ....
