What a beautiful place! It was a bit tricky to get there by car because, during the day, they close the gates of straight street, but in the end, with a kind policeman on a motorcycle escorting us through the small streets, we arrived at the hotel. The staff had organised a parking space right opposite the entrance, which was... More

Very well positioned on the "Right Street" of Damascus which is within walking distance of most of sightseeing in Damascus. Rooms small but very chic. Breakfast great. Staff very friendly and give helpful tips.

This hotel could be great. The location in the middle of old Damascus is excellent. The building itself, an old merchant house, has plenty of charm. The rooms themselves however are tiny. Worse yet, they have a pungent smell of toilet cleaner about them. This smell persisted for the two days that we stayed, despite having the window open, and... More

I stayed here for 4 nights during the period when Americans were advised to leave Syria. The hotel (like all others) was nearly empty. Even so, the staff was wonderful. My room, at the back, on the upper floor, was quiet, luxurious, romantic. It had a large terrace (no view, alas). The bed was gigantic and comfortable. It gave me... More

Traditional old city damascene house. Lovely courtyard. We had a double room on the first floor. It shared a large balcony with the next room. Lovely atmosphere.

I travel many places but this hotel is my best. If I go back to Damascus I will go back same hotel. Room has great interior and beautiful courtyard. The hotel locates in old town where all you need is here. Staffs are nice and well helpful. Even decoration in toilet was made by full wall mosaic. I have a... More

My recent stay at the Agenor Hotel was spectacular in every way. Upon a very late arrival we were notified that we were upgraded to a suite which was fit for a queen. The bathroom was amazing! The services at all levels were prompt and attentive. The location in the old city is absolutely perfect for walking everywhere. I would... More

It´s located perfectly, the people work there is the most lovely people I ever met in a hotel but also the hotel is something special. It´s like live in the history! If it´s something I regret it will be... More

This hotel is wonderful, but the beauty of the hotel is nothing compared to the warmth and kindness of the staff. It is a family run hotel and the staff makes the difference. If you go to Damscus, you must stay at this hotel
