We arrived and no-one helped us with our bags & after getting to the front desk I waited 20 minutes for the person to complete the check-in proceedure which was far too long. To cut to the chase - while the hotel itself is lovely and Stills restaurant has great staff, food, and the night we were there no annoying crap band, there are some problems. Hotel rooms feature the "all window" bathroom wall between bathroom and bedroom. Who thinks this is a good idea? Plus the blind is mounted on the bedroom... more

We spent 6 nights in the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi (Yas Island) in early Dec 09. I believe the hotel had only just opened the month before for the Formula 1 race but this wasn't evident from the quality of service we received. We were very impressed by our whole experience.
