I had a great experience at Residencial Latino. Its more of a boutique hotel rather than a hostel. The location is great and the rooms are big, cosy and quiet inspite of being near the bus terminal.Breakfast was the usual Bolivian fare of bread, jam coffee but the portions were not miserly. Wifi was excellent and free and the hot showers... More

This is more like a small hotel than hostel. Great location, walking distance to downtown La Paz. Our room was very comfortable with tv, wifi and comfortable beds and overlooked the internal courtyard. Breakfast was good but you were not able to have seconds of coffee/bread etc.

We have stayed here a few times as we come and go thru La Paz. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Sagarnaga tourist area, Residencial Latino is 2 blocks above Plaza Murillo in Centro Historico... beautifully decorated with a colonial feel...quiet, comfortable, clean, safe, wi-fi and breakfast included. Dbl Bs 120 with shared bathroom, 180 with private bathroom.

I stayed there this month & have to say I had a very pleasant experience. Extremely helpful & friendly staff. Centrally located most importantly. Overall cleanness of the hotel was great, so was the breakfast, wifi & HOT water was a major PLUS. And for the price you can't ask for more~!

We stayed here for a week and it was really nice for the most part, staff were a bit hit and miss. Rooms were clean and had comfy beds though shower not that warm. Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by the cleaning staff taking a pair of merino base layer pants out of our bag. After searching everywhere multiple times... More

Its outside of the main tourist zone so you feel like you're living among the locals. I liked this as I generally found the locals to be friendly and courteous and also very interesting. Although outside the tourist area it's really only s few minutes walk down the hill and there are some good cheap places to eat in and... More

Stayed here for 6 nights (on and off) while in La Paz doing some trekking and climbing Potosi. Rooms are good, some bathrooms were little dirty or small. Wifi is only in the lobby so rooms toward the back don't get it. Breakfast is super basic, two pieces of bread, juice, sometimes yogurt, and coffee/tea. There is a computer in... More

The building is just abosulutely beautiful! Rooms are fine with TV and bathroom and clean. Breakfast could be better but it's ok. Lobby is really nice and you're not too far from the city center and museums.

I booked this hostel as was trying to save some cash on my trip. It is excellent value and the rooms were clean and large. The shared bathroom was also clean and had hot water. However, I was due to check out during Bolivian National Census Day. At no point did the hotel inform me that this was not going... More

Really nice hostel in an average city. The place is close (2 blocks) from the center. The offer spacious rooms, free breakfast and wifi. The doubles even have a tv. The place is clean and the people who run it incredibly friendly. Be prepared to meet a lot of South American travellers, rather than western backpackers. The staff only speaks... More
