The first thing that strikes you about this hotel is its size. It can be seen from some distance away, it's various towers topped with bulbous gold tops. Inside the theme continues. Various welcome desks are found either side of the huge bar/lounge area, which is very tastefully decorated in a modern chic style. We spent various evenings in the... More

We didn't choose this hotel but it was part of a land tour of China post cruise. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is a huge structure located right next to the remains of the old Ming Dynasty city wall and near the main station. It offers 4,000 square meters of meeting space. The Forbidden City,Tiananmen Square and... More

Beijing is a complex and exciting city and the Marriott City Wall gives you the best of both being near the action but also having a sense of being in an ancient place. Breakfast was like an international buffet mixing East and West and the service was quite good.

We chose Beijing Marriott City Wall so that we know that the hotel is up to an international standard. We stayed at a few Chinese hotels and had lots of essential things not working for us so we decided to pay a little more and get everything we need. We had just stayed at Courtyard by Marriott in Shanghai and... More

I've been traveling to Beijing for more than 10 years. For the past 4 years I've stayed at the Beijing city wall. I consider myself a hotel junkie, I like fabulous and expensive hotels. This hotel has a great location, and its situated near trains, buses and cabs. I will admit that Beijing is quite crowded, and there is quite... More

This beautiful hotel was home for four nights while we toured Beijing. It was comfortable luxury with plentiful and friendly staff who often spoke enough English to easily accommodate our requests. The location is within a 40 minute walk to the Forbidden City and Tian en Men square and several malls. Taxi rides are cheap if you don't wish to... More

I travelled with my daughter(5yrs) and son (11mths)....after the long flight it was such a pleasure to be in a lovely, large room with club access(it rocks)! This is a good value for money, modern and comfortable biz hotel. To ensure mobility - the train station is within 7mns walking distance. Though, we had the lounge access we wanted to... More

Stayed there for a conference at the Beijing International Hotel recently and found this hotel very conveniently located. It was walking distance to the conference hotel, and had a very nice breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and comfy and staff at the reception desk very helpful in finding directions to restaurants or sights.
