I stayed at Shenzhou International Hotel in April 2011 for a business meeting at a nearby location. The hotel is comfortable and the room has good facilities, with TV, reasonably fast internet etc. There is a reasonable restaurant in the hotel if you're too weary to venture outside, with pictures in the menu, although breakfast gets a little repetitive. A nice hotel that is centrally in Beijing. Moderately priced. This hotel is close to the National Library subway station. So you can take the subway to the train to the bullet train. This will give you access to many of the attractions here in Beijing. Traveling this way is cheap! The Beijing zoo is only one subway station away.... More
