Very nice place with excellent quality rooms and a wonderful restaurant that has a killer buffet. The health club is also fantastic. The location is generally very good, near the space museum, dinosaur museum, and the zoo - but the hotel is off the main road about a block and you do have to walk about 10 minutes to get... More

Stayed here for three nghts at the start of what turned out to be a bit a whirlwind tour of China. Our group was whizzed from the hotel to various attractions (Forbidden City,Great Wall etc) so I never actually discovered where this hotel was in relation to the centre of the city- some distance as I belive we adjacent to the... I travel a lot for business (about 60-70% of the year) and have stayed in different hotels of different levels throughout the world. It is a good 4 star hotel, priced for business, with very good service. I would definitely only stay here for business and only if that was mostly based on West side of Beijing. Even though I... my wife and i stayed at this hotel last june of 2011. my first time in this hotel and my first impression is that this hotel is so so and not really that spectacular. free wifi coverage is only in the hotel lobby. this hotel is not near any shopping malls but it is right across some convenience store where... This hotel is huge. It has sprawls upwards and outwards to conference rooms, restaurants, gym etc. The main lobby is very impressive with a vast space for reception area, escalators and functions area. There is a fountain too. This apace also leads to the main breakfast room, the bar and a café area. Check-in was fast and efficient and a... More

Stayed here for a convention, the food was so, so, there was variety but after two days you get bored. Remember to bring your swim cap if you plan to use pool, and if you don't mind naked people in the locker room / shower area, the gym and spa are pretty decent. HOtel is getting a bit outdated, but... More

I've stayed here twice, 2008, 2010 and the hotel could do now do with a make-over. The reception area, lounge, bar and restaurant are all very nice, but the rooms are starting to feel a little tired. So much so that I checked out after 4 days and moved to the Lido Holiday Inn (now called Metropark Lido), which is... More

Staff were friendly, the main floor restaurant had good breakfast variety. AC in the room did not always operate. Fortunately, the windows open so there was some relief at night. More

When I was told this was a Five Star hotel I was shocked in what I found relating to the hotel. The room was warm and dry during my stay in March 2011 with no control of the temperature except to open the window. The bathroom door was cracked with chipped paint. The bed sheets were scratchy on my skin... More
