I spent few nights at the hotel and had the advantage of having a local guy as my translator/guide who helped getting the most out of the hotel. Only few members of staff spoke English, for instance a call to the room service took several people to find someone with English skills.

I stayed here for 3 nights on business, and the selection of this hotel was made by my hosts because it was close to our meetings. It seemed to me that no one in the hotel actually spoke English, and no one really understood what I was asking about. Also, the area of the hotel is not a touristy area....

I have stayed at this hotel twice. Once in 2005 and now the redone version in 2008. Thought the update for the Olympics is good - it leaves some things to be desired. There isn't a designated deluxe floor with no smoking rooms. The staff has limited English - a must for the Olympic Media. There isn't a convenience store...
