5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2013 NEW

We stayed in a club room in order to have access to the club lounge. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom that had both a nice, deep tub and a roomy shower stall. Unlike many hotels, this one offered free WiFi in the room, and the Internet connection was nice and speedy. The bed was very... More

Except for its location, there is nothing to recommend for this hotel. And if you are looking for a true intercontinental standard, this hotel is not there yet. Lobby washroom is one of the filthiest. Breakfast is just so-so with more local food than western. Asked for a smoked salmon omelette, sorry, not for breakfast. On the upside hotel is... More

I had stayed here many many times, the last being 4 years ago. It was a nice hotel but service was not up to par in any way. Not welcoming, not friendly not helpful. Just checked out and I can't say enough about the remarkable improvement in service. Stayed on a Club floor. An example of amazing? I had been... More

A very Good place in Chongqing, if you are traveling for business. Some Good Restaurants inside the hotel, but very good the wellness center and the executive floor. Very good the value for money having a Corporate fare.

I stayed for 5 nights in March and thought it was a great hotel. It is located in a central position and close (1 min walk) to a major shopping area. The hotel was very clean and extremely well presented. I had a deluxe king room and it was a very generous size with a desk, arm chair, big window... More

Perfect location for most people traveling to Chongqing. Shopping malls, restaurants and Starbucks are easy to be found in this area. We arrived very late the first night due to flight delay but the room was well prepared for our check in. Buffet breakfast was nice and we had drinks in the lobby lounge one evening but decided to leave... More

Travel to Chongqing for business trip again. This hotel is situated at one of the most popular tourist spot of Chongqing - Yuzhong district. You could find lots of shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel is a little bit old, but it didn't affect their service at all. Their staff are nice and helpful. Standard room is... More

Me and husband were staying at Intercontinental Chongqing in February 2013 for a week during Chinese New Year. Being honest, we are very pleased. Hotel was clean, our standard room was very comfortable, nice and suprisingly big. Staff was really helpful, not pushy at all. Location was just excellent- in the city centre. Warmly recommend!

I stayed at the InterContinental Chongqing for a week with my girlfriend for a week during christmas 2012. I must say that it was a very delightful experience. The room was great, we stayed at the 31st floor and had a nice view over the river. I think they called it a Deluxe-Room. The bed was a very comfortable king-size... More

Getting a taxi can be a nightmare in Chongqing (you can be waiting for 40 minutes in the rush hour or evening), so on this trip I decided I had to get a central hotel. It was worth it. The Intercontinental is immediately next to a metro station, and within 5 minutes walk of all the offices I had to... More

Dear Nemo149 Greetings from the Intercontinental Chongqing and thank you for taking the time to review our Hotel. I'm pleased to know you especially appreciated our location and guest rooms and yes taxi's are a very challenging problem in this city, not as regulated or organised as in cities like Beijing or Shanghai.
