it is located in an old building. we got stuck in the elevator for about 10mins! that was totally scary! the room we had was very small. when we sat in each of our beds, our knees would touch. there was no space for our luggages, they dont fit even on the floor so we had to put them on... More

We stayed 3 nights in a 10 person dorm - booked the friendship hostel but ended up in the USA hostel. Dorm was tiny and cramped with narrowest beds imaginable. Do not trust this hostel. On hostelworld they specifically mention that they are only in the Mirador Mansion. This is NOT true. We were moved over to the Chungking Mansion, after being forced to pay in full in cash for 4 nights.
