The Petrohue Lodge is located in a outstanding national park with excellent service and food . Expect it to be a little rustic ie. hot water is turned on at 6:30 pm for your evening clean up. Lots of excellent outdoor activities you can not go wrong with any of them.

Visiting Chile for the first time we share our time between Santiago, the lagos and Eastern island. Petrohue Lodge is a very good destination. Hotel is on a small hill, dominat/lake. We got a room with lakeview(others have volcano views). Romm was very large, and so the bathroom. Like for the majority of lodge, no A/C, no TV but who... More

We recently stayed at Petrohue Lodge for four nights. The staff and accommodations were wonderful. The remote location makes this a great place to unplug and just enjoy the natural surroundings. We arranged three excursions through the lodge's Activities program; they were fantastic! It was amazing to hike up and around the base of Volcan Osorno and take in the... More

We used Ker & Downey to book this part of our trip to Chile & they mistakenly booked us in a room way too small for our family of 4. The management quickly rectified this for us & made it a seemless transition (didn't even charge extra for a bigger room as we were prepaid!) They went out of their... More

The Petrohué Lodge was off the beaten path, outside of Ensenada on a road with a 6km stretch of rough gravel. But that is partly why it had so much charm. It was away from it all. The Petrohué River begins at its doorstep as it empties out of the spectacularly beautiful Lago Todos Los Santos with its pumice and... More

the view out of our third floor room is priceless!! the lodge is pretty secluded and the ferry ride is the main attraction. The restaurant staff was very gracious and the food is great. They went out of their way to get breakfast ready for us at 6am because we had a very early pick up time to get to... More

If you have the money, this is a really wonderful place to stay for two or three nights, or longer if you are into outdoor activities. The lodge is like one of those wonderful wooden lodges built at U.S. National Parks during the 1930s recession. It is reachable by bus from Frutillar or Puerto Octay. $282 a night for a... More

We stayed for 3 nights in January this year. First impressions as we drove up can only be summed up as a stunning building in a stunning location. Service was warm and friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. We had gone with the "all in" package including evening meals. Choice of two mains and the quality of the... More

Not a good experience here. The main problem is the price/quality ratio. The hotel is nice. We were in a superior room from $250 and the room was large, the bathroom was nice, everything was good. But the level of quality given the price was underwhelming. Given other places we stayed in the region, this place is way out of... More

I travel the world and there is one thing I despise, is arrogance. We can to this hotel and it was the low season, they said it was around $300 night, I don`t mind paying for it, but a tourist trap i will not tolerate. Therefore, we went 500 meters to a cabin run by Mr Alejandro (german last name),... More
