Great location on a quite street right in the middle of all the mariscal action. The bed in the room I stayed in was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in (room 18 I think). Check the bed carefully before committing to a room. More

The hostal is impecably clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Based on reviews here I asked for back room. May not have been necessary. The block is relatively quiet. There is a cofee shop across but no blaring music. A block away IS very loud. More

The "garden of the sun" hotel offers inexpensive and basic accommodations and is located close to many of New Town's bars and restaurants. The staff was helpful for the most part. Nice hostel in the heart of the Mariscal district - lots of internet cafes and bars etc in the immediate area. Very helpful staff and clean rooms. The really bad music from the 24 hr cafe across the street is annoying, but if you ask for a room at the back it should be okay. More

Nice hostal for the price. My room overlooked the street and had a medium size balcony. The cafe across the street was a plus except late at night. It was open all night and it was too loud. Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. Staff was extremely helpful. More

This was our first time at a hostal and it was pretty good. The location was good, the 24 hr coffee shop/bar/restaurant/free internet cafe across the street was great (though the music was loud late at night). The showers could have been a bit more modern, but overall it was inexpensive (compared to a hotel) and did the trick. More
