- Accor Grand Hotel Alameda Quito

Impressive lobby area! Superfast check in and friendly staff. We got a great deal as it was and were upgraded to a suite on level 8. Clean and very nice! It is a big, flashy, international modern looking hotel. We were very satisfied. Would definitely stay again.

We were picked up at the airport and taken to the airport complimentary. We snagged a terrific rate at the Mercure. Then, to our delight, they upgraded us to a junior suite number 302 for our two night stay. The room was quiet, spacious, and clean. The only small problem was only one coffee bag is provided for two people...

I booked on-line the night before arriving, paid a very reasonable rate (caution - there is a 22% hotel tax) and was very pleasantly surprised to receive a beautiful suite. Excellent room, nice view if you like overlooking the street.
The negatives were that the room faced the street so there was street noise. However I always travel with earplugs...

Overall, the service was fine. The rooms were clean and for the most part, the staff were professional. I found it annoying that they wanted me to provide a cash deposit after a couple of days. When I checked in, I provided them with my credit card information, and I'm sure they know how to block the appropriate amount for...

We stayed here 3 different single days on our tour which ended 12/24/2011. While there my Ipad came up missing and I actually accused the staff of stealing it. I was embarrassed when it was found a few days later behind the curtain on the window seal in my room. Kudos to Mr. Diego Naranjo who remembered me complaining about...

This is a good hotel with very good sushi bar and exceptionally good room service! The supermarket is about 10 min walk and the traditional Indian market which is good to buy souvenirs is also around the corner.

They are presently renovating the hotel and we were assigned a new junior suite (room #210) on our first night. For our second stay later in the week, they assigned us a non-renovated one-bedroom suite (Penthouse #1003) with an amazing terrace/view of the city.. The hotel will be very nice when finished. Great location and reasonable prices. My only negative...

We stayed at the Mercure Grand Hotel in Quito for 3 nights in May 2011 near the end of an OAT tour to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos.
This was the nicest hotel that we stayed in during our Peru/Ecuador trip (and our only hotel in Ecuador). The rooms were modern, clean, and of fair size compared to the hotels...
