During my trip to Ecuador I stopped three times at this hotel. My friend Julia and I were on a tour of Ecuador and chose this hotel via most of the reviews already written by travellers. It was a lovely hotel. From the outside it looks ok but it's very nice when you walk in. The staff were warm and... More

Free internet, nice, unique rooms, very food restaurant, air conditioning in each room. Be advised - there are several different room types. Some are large and have a couple of rooms to them. There was one that was small. Make sure you get the larger one. Breakfast was included for us and was continental style. The location is fantastic. Just... More

We stayed here for 3 seperate nights before, during and after trips to the rain forest and the Galapagos islands. It is a small pretty hotel set a short walk away from shops, churches and the Bassillica. As other guests have already stated the floors are wooden and extremely slippery in socks or when walking over the rugs and we had... More

The Location is perfect if you want to be in the historical center. Had a great room. We met a waitress there who befriended my daughter and she took us out locally to shop. what am extra bonus....would stay there again. More

I stayed here 3 nights at the tail end of a trip to the Galapagos. I chose the Patio Andaluz due to its location in the heart of the old town, which is unbeatable unless you want to pay 2-3 times the price for the Plaza Grande (I don't see the point when it is one block away). It is... More

My family and I stayed here for two nights in January 2012 upon return from the Galapagos. We wanted a hotel in contrast to the modern hotel we stayed at the start of our trip. The Patio Andaluz fits the bill. As you enter, notice the beautiful carved wood doors and massive flower displays in the lobby. the reception is... More

This hotel is gorgeous, our room massive with two floors connected by a spiral staircase, had two bedrooms and nice bathroom. Great friendly staff, the inside of the hotel is beautiful. The location is EXCELLENT....just a couple minutes walk to the city square and all the great restaurants, shops, churches, etc. Only a couple of negatives: the hardwood floors in... More

I had a short visit to Quito and decided to stay close to the old town. I was strongly suggested to stay at this hotel because service, location and facilities are great. And that is correct. Staff is extremely helpful and food is good. Is close to churches and museums as well as to beautiful street La Ronda. Congratulations! More

This grand old hotel is located in Old Quito, just two blocks from the historic Plaza Grande and many historical buildings and museums. Since it is in Old Town, it takes longer to get to the airport and some of the "cosmopolitan" aspects of North Quito must be accessed cab or other transportation. The hotel it self has a beautiful...
