We stayed for 2 nights on our way to the Galapagos and were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Patio Andaluz. The location is great - about 2 blocks from the main square and within walking distance to all the main historic attractions in Quito. The room was very quiet, clean, well appointed and with comfy beds,... More

I went to Quito for a quick business trip. The hotel is located in the most beautiful part of the city, which is great for tourists. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel: great service, clean and elegant rooms, comfortable beds and a nice bar/restaurant. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I spent a total of 3 nights here on our way to and from the Galapagos. We found the rooms to be very clean and the beds comfortable. There is a restaurant and tapas bar in the hotel. We used both. A continental buffet breakfast was provided with our room. The one morning when we had to... More

On my first trip to Ecuador, arrived late (after midnight) Sunday evening. Met by friendly staff who quickly checked us in. Porter carried bags to our rooms, which are lovely, spacious, spotless and well-appointed. Free bottled water in guest rooms. Easy English communication -I wish I knew more Spanish. Delicious breakfast - many options fresh and hot or cold as... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, on the way to & from the Galapogos. On both occasions, we had a room with a staircase. The first time, the bed was upstairs, so it was a real hassle getting the bags upstairs - the porter basically dumped our bags just inside the door & disappeared. So, it was cramped upstairs with... Stayed total of 3 nights first night just overnight and then 2 nights on return. Lovely room on the front with an upstairs bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast quite good but the high altitude doesn't help you eating habits, can't blame hotel for that. Dinner was also very good but there are plenty of eating places close by. Staff very helpful,... We walked by this beautiful space while wandering in the Old Section & decided to eat because it looked so great. Unfortunately, the food was bland & nothing special. The real kicker came at the end when we asked to split the meal straight down the middle with another couple. Surely, this can't be an unusual request & yet it... More
