This is a nice hotel, a little walk from the centre of town. I'd only rate the location as average because the walk in wasn't particularly pleasant. Rooms were spacious, plumbing worked well enough, door locks and safe worked, so it had the basics.Well-presented, particularly from the outside, we would be happy to stay here again.

We loved staying here so much we stayed an extra three days. We took advantage of their parking/camping area with our truck camper. They are in a great location, three blocks from the plaza de armas and two blocks from a huge grocery store. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They have a pretty quick internet connection too!

This is a very nice colonial hotel in the center of Arequipa. The hotel was very clean, they have beautiful gardens and the service was great! The rooms were spacious and there was hot water at all times.

Hostal Las Mercedes is a lovely little place! Nice gardens, well maintained, quiet rooms, at least the ones on the rear side of the building.
