By far the best of the 6 hotels we stayed in during our Peru travels......stayed 5 nights. Location is ideal.....only a block from the Plaza Armas.....convenient walking distance to most attractions and shopping. Rooms, although small, were very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Restaurant on site had the best breakfast on our trip and custom... More

Must disagree with the posts about this hotel The location is great but that is the only positive The rooms are small and clostrophobic room 212 has no natural light The beds are uncomfortable and hard We asked to upgrade to the jacuzzi bath room on our return from Macchu Pichu and were told no and were given an even... Of the three places we stayed in Peru this was by far the best. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and bright. The staff was especially attentive and helpful. The location was convenient and safe. The roof top terrace and atrium was an especially nice touch. We frequently saw either the manager or owner (not sure which... More

The service here was fantastic. They never missed a beat. They welcomed us with hot tea, he;ped us with our luggage. Stored our luggage for us when we went to Machu Picchu, and seemed genuinely pleased to greet us upon our return. Located just off the Central part of Cusco you can walk to many of the museums and sites... More

We stayed at the Maytaq Hotel for a total of 3 nights, 2 before heading off to Machu Picchu and 1 on our return. We had trouble with getting train tickets on Peru Rail on-line as their site wasn't accepting credit cards. The hotel manager was kind enough to go and get them for us. All the staff were super... Cusco is a fantastic city, and Maytaq Wasin was a great place to stay when visiting, just around the corner from the main square where all the best bars, restaurants, and shops are. The Hotel itself is well appointed with nice lounge areas, a very good restaurant, and upstairs there is an area where you can make hot drinks to... More

Our group of 7 people stayed at the Maytaq last week for 3 nights. The hotel is gorgeous and excellent value for the money. Good breakfast, polite and helpful staff. A special thanks to Andrea for buying our Machu Picchu tickets for us (the Peru government website is not currently accepting payments - go figure?!) and arranging a van and... More

This hotel is in a great location as only a short walk to the main square. I stayed here twice, the first time I had a lovely room with a double bed and spacious bathroom. I then had an overnight at Machu Picchu so had to check out and when I came back for my next stay I had a... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of our travel agent and we were very happy with the whole layout. It was clean & comfortable with a perfect location close to good bars and restaurants. I agree with a previous reviewer that the breakfast wasn't amazing, but it was definitely sufficient for our needs.
