This hotel was my first stop before heading to MACHUPICHU .I was received by the desk clerk Marizza who was very polite and helpful. LOCATION: This hotel Is walkable but not exactly near the town center15-20min.Since the road to the center/plaza armas is downhill, it's easier to walk down but, one has to consider taking a taxi on returning to... We spent two days at the Mirador de Santa Ana after our hike to Machu Picchu. We arrived late, dirty, and tired. The staff could not have been more helpful. After check in, a staff member even went out for bottled water for us. My wife and I gravitate to hotels with a local flavor. This hotel is just the... More

Very nice property with fantastic views. Wifi everywhere, friendly staff and just 10-15 min walk to city center, through a picturesque and typical neighborhood of Cusco. The breakfast is adequate and there is always hot water.

I found this accomodation reasonable for the price but the on-line photos are much better than the real thing! Some rooms face out with a great view so check out the rooms before you agree to one. Mine did not really have a view, there was no heater provided and the bed was so hard I could hardly sleep. Our... More

The hotel looks nice in the lobby but our room was cold, despite the heater given to us; the bed was uncomfortably hard; the hotel was noisy at night. There is no computer but there is a wireless connection. Housekeeping failed to give us more than one tiny bar of soap and did not give us enough towels on two... More

The staff is very friendly and helpful. But its a walk uphill and another 242 steps reach the hotel. The beds are hard as rock. No shampoo. Limited soap. Someone came into our room when while we were out for dinner to turn off the light we had left on. That should never happen. The owner attempted to charge my... More

We loved this little find and it's spectacular view of the Centro Historico. Maite was super friendly and helpful. A little bit of a trek uphill which you feel at that altitude, but it's quiet, safe, clean and reasonably priced.

This place was great - a short walk out of the downtown tourist trap that is Cusco. The family who run the place are lovely. They were happy to hold our luggage when we hiked Machu Picchu and give us restaurant recommendations and such. The only negative was the beds were the hardest mattresses I have ever slept on. It... An amazing family run hotel with a great value. Maria Theresa (Mai-te) is the owner and is very sweet and helpful. She helped us book a nice bus to Puno (Lake Titicaca) when go2peru.com failed to follow through with my PeruRail train tickets. Very modern and clean with free breakfast, free tea (coca tea helps with the altitude) free wifi... More
