The setting of the hotel is nice, rooms are well kept. Wifi connection is terrible and only work from the desk area. The property has one problem: its staff. It is unprofessional both at the desk and the restaurant. On our last morning (on our Machu Picchu visit day) we didn't get the wake up call at 5:30 am as... More

This hotel is absolutely superb for its price. Very quiet, beautiful and is in the middle of nature where you can enjoy a wonderful time to relax and admire the view of this amazing city, has green area with large gardens. I definitely recommend that you travel to Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Machu Pichu or worth staying in this hotel! Because... More

This was a really pretty place to stay along the route to Machu Picchu. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. Spacious bedrooms with good sized bathrooms. Has a great Peruvian feel to it. The reasons I gave it a rating of just 3 are that it is questionable we were charged the proper rate (we traveled with a... More

We recently had an awful stay at Eco Andina. The hotel ran out of hot water repeatedly, the amenities are wildly overpriced, the managers lied to us repeatedly about their willingness to accept credit card payments, and -- worst of all -- we witnessed them turn away other guests with confirmed reservations because the management had overbooked the hotel! Can... More

Worst experience in Peru to date. Expensive, marginal facility and terrible service. Don't eat there and don't believe them when they say their credit card machine won't work...they are lying...just don't want to take card.

We went here on an Overseas Adventure Travel trip in December 2012. The 15 of us were the only guests. Despite the fact that we were all on the same wake up/dining schedule, we didn't experience any problems with hot water or noise as some other reviews suggested. Wifi was fine in 2nd floor rooms, but not so much in... More

We spent two nights at the Eco Andina hotel in late April as part of an Overseas Adventure Travel tour to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos. The hotel is in a somewhat remote location, but its setting is very pleasant and relaxing - gardens abound among its various buildings. The hotel restaurant is nice, as is its lobby. Our room... I recently stayed at the Eco Andina with my family and friends for 3 nights. Since it was July, which is considered one of the coldest winter months in Peru, we definitely felt the winter chill at night. Though there's no heat in the rooms, they do provide extra alpaca blankets and if you really need a heater, they'll stick... More
