Beautiful hotel one block from the beach. We had a balcony room up high which gave us a great view of the ocean. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet had a great variety. Firm beds, nicely furnished thoughout and good space.

Nice view. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location, near restaurants and seaside, it is not necessary to get taxis. The neighborhood is nice and safe, just a little noisy because of the buses that stop at the square in front of the hotel.

The hotel is just fine: the size of the rooms, cleaned and specially the breakfast is quite good. However, the service is rather gloomy y/o cold? During my stay I did not feel in a hotel with a South American atmosphere rather within a "polar environment".

Charming location at Placa Gomensoro, Pocitos. Standard rooms are small and old fashioned, like they were in the fifties. But everything works. Outstanding location with waterviews. Being our second trip to Uruguay, in Montevideo Pocitos is our neighborhood of choice. Spending four nights at the Ermitage, we were most satisified and actually pleasantly surprised with the rambla and waterviews. Better than pictured! Even lying in bed we had a waterview.
