I stayed in the Continental hotel in Belgrade with a big group of international colleagues around Christmas time. The staff was very helpful to everyone. this hotel has an important history in Belgrade and it is still one of the favourite hotels for business trips. Service is ok but they should start investing in refurbishing rooms and the hotel as such. As long as they do not do that, prices shall be kept lower. Due to fact that I am from Belgrade, I can tell you that location is very good. Its 5 minutes by public transport to City Center, and not far (even for walking) to the night life on the river. This is famous Belgrade hotel with some specific charm from 80's. If the prices stay down it is going to be best buy for belgrade. I have to point out increadible menagers that tried to make our stay the best possible. more

Dark. Very dark and old fashion. That's the first thought jumping up on my mind everytime I went there and the only thing that keeps impressed in my mind. What a dark, dingy hotel. That's only looking from the outside. Needs a refurbish badly. Luckily, only stayed 1nt before flying out next morning. This hotel is over-priced, and out-dated. The decor was old, and the rooms were not that nice, especially for the price. The decor was fine in the 1970's but not now. The staff were nice, without being over friendly. Also, the hotel is nowhere near the city centre. Its located in a business area accross the river from the city.... more
