Hotel Ibis on Shevchenko Boulevard is a great choice for both business or holiday trips. Clean and new rooms, great breakfast and very polite staff. The hotel is located a short walk from metro station.

I've stayed here all four times I've been in Kiev. The location is perfect, very centric. You can get to Khreschatyk street (main street in Kiev) in around 15 minutes on foot. The personnel is polite and helpful with excellent use of english. My only complain would be the restaurant, it's somewhat small.

Arrived by train and found the hotel pretty easily, it's a short (15 minute uphill) walk from the station. Facilities were good, nice clean rooms with decent facilities. You know what to expect with Ibis. Excellent breakfast, clean comfortable room etc. This one is within 20 minutes walk of Kiev's main rail station (where the airport bus arrives too) and it's easy to find on foot. It is a decent hotel - nice rooms, friendly staff, great location. However, I'm not a fan of hotel chains - when you can't tell which country and city you are in. If you aren't either you'll find it average too. You'll get good service but you won't get any atmosphere.

Loved staying at this hotel...great location, excellent rooms and fittings, great restaurant.. The staff were wonderful and looked after me no end, all spoke excellent English and never stopped smiling ... And I have to add!.....the women staff members are living proof that Ukranian ladies are the most beautiful in the world....in everyway..
