I don't know why Lonely Planet lists this place as "recommended." It's not really in the downtown- it's in kind of an ugly area about 8 blocks from Calle Uruguay. Our original booking hotel disappeared off the face of the earth, so this was the only place left with availability 4 days before our trip.
