My sisters and I meet at the Senator Inn twice a year. We have massages and shop in the area. We stayed in the spa suite last time and it was absolutely perfect for us. I have always found it to be clean and the staff is attentive. I will be booking there again!

I've loved the Senator Inn since I was a kid growing up in Maine. Unfortunately, it has became a tad shabby but the restaurant and spa/pool keep it high on my list of Maine hotels. I would only give it a "3" Average rating were it not for the Cloud 9 restaurant and beautiful pool.

Our room was so shabby, painted wallpaper that was bubbling and ripped. No bedspread or extra blanket.. It was average sized and mostly clean. Really liked this place...staff very nice,helpful...cozy bar,great restaurant....room was very clean,enjoyed the fireplace,quiet....would definietly recommend this Inn....if fact I have,relatives stayed there recently.

Stayed here with extended family in Sept 2012. The pool looks just like the photo - feels like a Roman palace! Had a blast swimming with everyone! We also ate at the hotel restaurant - lobster dinner and wood-fired pizza. There was a deluxe Sunday brunch that everyone enjoyed!

I stay at the Senator often and can tell you they aim to please every single day. The staff could not be nicer. I always feel safe and at home. The food alone is worth staying there, excellent free breakfast and the gourmet dinners are 5 star quality.
