Wonderful, friendly and first class resort. Right on the water, great sandy beach and lovely rooms. Sit on the beach patio for lunch and try their first class restaurant. Service throughout is top notch and location is convenient as well. Place is pricey, but here you certainly get what you pay for.

We spent a beautiful fall weekend in one of the GoldCoast rooms that face the ocean with a little deck and private beach. The hotel reminds you of one that could be in the caribbean. The location of the hotel on the beach is fabulous. The room is not fancy but it doesn't lack anything. It did not appear to... More

We choose Cliffside for a post Labor Day weekend away and I think we saw the hotel and the island at it's absolute best. I would highly recommend a 'treat' weekend at Cliffside. The hotel was full during our stay, but you really wouldn't have known it. There were hardly any people on the beach despite gorgeous weather. We were... More

The above title is pretty much what we said everyday waking up at cliffside. Nantucket is a place you could stay at a quaint B&B and be perfectly happy with a TINY room and touring the island and avoiding your room until you need to sleep. You could do that OR you could spend a little more (like 50% more)... More

My wife and I recently celebrated our 5 year anniversary at this lovely hotel. This is by far the best combination of location, charm, service, luxury of any place on Nantucket. We biked and explored the island by Jeep and the Cliffside just has it all. There didn't seem to be another small hotel on the beach with awesome service... More

How often does everything go right! Beautiful beach, umbrellas set up for you, unbelievable sunsets, 10 min cab ride to town. Pool that no one seems to know about that is quiet and lovely. The rooms are large and lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Loved it! The rooms are lovely though no king sized beds, only queens. Liked the proximity to a very good restaurant where we could have our meals. The hotel offers only a modest breakfast (no cooked items such as hot cereal, pancakes or eggs). The beach is great though it has many shells and is a bit rocky down by... More

We visit each year for our anniversary -- its a perfect distance from town -- giving both privacy AND decent proximity. Love the beach access and access to the Galley. Rooms are comfortable, beautiful and on the beach. Fantastic gym and pool on site.

On the beach in its own private calm world, yet a nice 30 minute walk or five minute ride into town. Staff is pleasant, always available but never in the way.

We have been coming back here every few years since we first fell in love with Cliffside during our first visit to Nantucket. It is a charming, relaxing vacation spot and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. From the continental breakfast in the main building to the cozy rooms and wonderful beach there is probably no place we wound... More
