We stayed at the Periwinkle Guest House for 2 nights. It's an old house, with small rooms, and reminded me very much of my grandparents house in New England. Breakfast was a throw away beds comfortable 100 yards from whaling museum- on the quiet side.. it was fine nothing special but certainly didn't overpay.

Periwinkle is very clean, Sonja keeps the place in tip-top shape. Walking distance to downtown. You can't beat the price of $140.00 for a queen bed and twin bed in the room.
