After checking tripadvisor and other web sites my wife and I decided to spend our first three nights in Dubrovnik at the Villa Dubrovnik. The Villa Dubrovnik is probably the best hotel in town, with the possible exception of the extremely luxurious, tiny, and very expensive Pucic Palace in the old town proper.
