The Sankt Peterburg hotel is an ideal place to stay while visiting Plovdiv. The suite we stayed in was very large and the view from the 15th floor was inspiring. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and my only criticism would be there was no bath; however we didn't ask for a bath so maybe there are other suites with them....

Nice room with plenty of space and a view overlooking Plovdiv. Hotel as a series of pools - all seem to close at the end of summer regardless of weather. First week of september and it is 27c but the entrance to the pools is blocked with chairs. One person is swimming - I assume a member of staff. Ok...

For starter be aware of the double pricing. The price for locals is half of the price displayed at reception. My wife is Bulgarian, she made the reservation by phone for a double room but when we arrived we had few unpleasant surprises.
