There is nothing wrong with this place, I just had higher expectations based on previous reviews. We arrived at around 9pm due to flights to find the entire place shut up and in pitch black! We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The family owners were friendly and made us feel very comfortable during our four night stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Mekong. The daughter of the owner is super friendly and speaks very good English. She is happy to help with any queries. This place has a very good location. Very central and with balcony overlooking the river. However, it comes at a price - 54 USD. This is too much. The rooms are just a room, and a bit small. Stayed here for 2 nights and for the price you pay (about 50 usd) you get great value for money, the hotel is just 2 min walk to the main street and balcony is over looking the river, also the breakfast is great and if you leave early in the morning they will make sure pack it like a child... More

Super clean, great location. My room had a balcony overlooking the Mekong, great for coffee in the am or beer/wine in the evening. Hotel was very quiet and peaceful during my 2 night stay.
