I recently arrived at this guest house and as I alighted from the taxi was asked if I had a booking, which I did. I then produced the voucher from Hotel Club for 3 nights and the the lady there then proceeded to tell me that I had to pay more as they had incorrectly stated the price. When I... More

The hotel had a great location as it was situated opposite a temple. From our balcony, we were able to witness the monks' alms-giving ceremony. As the hotel is situated towards the end of Sakkarin Road, restaurants and night market were walking distance, yet we didn't have the trouble of dealing with all the noise in the main street. The... We booked 2 nights at the Villa Senesouk guest house, Luang Prabang through hotelclub.com and on arrival we were told that they had no record of us booking in. We had the booking confirmation printed out and the lady firstly told us we must have cancelled it! We informed her we definitely did not cancel it and I even logged... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed a very relaxing stay. The hotel itself is very well kept with a beautiful teak wooden reception area and stair case. We had a room upstairs with a fantastic view overlooking the temple over the road and I often spent time watching the monks come and go. The room itself was cosy... More

Four days in LP and in all that time staff were indifferent to everything - never enquired about our stay, room, if they could help with anything - when asked, they told us they had no map of the town but could get one for $10US! When we wanted a telephone book they had none and didn't try to help... More

We went for a "supreme" room for $50. While it was quite lovely, the lack of breakfast, wi-fi, or absolutely any help from the staff knocked this place down a few pegs. It's right across the street from the temple where they have the tourist version of the alms giving in the AM. I admit to feeling quite cheeky knocking... More

The location is in the middle of good restaurants and temples. Good for the one who want to give alms or take a photo of monk in the morning because it's just in front iof the hotel. The room is very nice and comfort. The staff are helpful. BUT I booked online for the room downstair with terrace and street... More

We stayed 2 nights at Senesouk, and as we had a reservation in Booking we couldnt walk away after seeing the room (or we would have lost our money). We decided that we wanted to spend some more in Luang Prabang as this is such a lovely place. I think there are some nice and more expensive rooms upstairs- we... More

I spent 1 night there. LIKE Room conditions: The room was comfortable and clean. Every thing in the bed room and bath room functioned well. SO-SO Location: It took 10-minute walk to the town center and night market. It could be an issue during the hot season because of no shade to cover walk path. The weather in Luangprabang even... We stayed here for 7 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is very clean. There was a constant supply of fresh coffee in the lobby which was nice. The rooms behind the main part of the hotel are gorgeous with teak walls and floors. If you get a balcony room at the front the room... More
