The Sheraton is one of the older hotels in the Houjie area and its starting to show. The carpets and furniture are looking tired and worn out. However the staff are friendly and efficient and the food is very good. If your there for business its passable but not one I'd recommend for a vacation.

The Italian restaurant is good but avoid the Chinese restaurant. Ask for a room NOT facing the street. The honking cars are a pain. There is also major construction going on. The construction is going to last a while and when done will be a intercity train track.

“Perfect Italian Restaurant”

10 years old hotel but design is quite good, especially the Renzo Lounge. My favoriate here is the Italian restaurant Luigi, quality food with good service. There are many dining choices outside hotel as well, supermarket is just cross the street. Outside hotel is bit dangerous as so many motorbiker just fly around

“Regular guest for years”

Been coming back to Sheraton Dongguan for probably 5 years now. It's been great to see the improvement in quality of the service year after year, to truly an international service level. And next visit is already booked. Only slightly negative comment is that despite being SPG gold level member i've never been offered a upgrade. :)

“Best hotel for business in Houjie Town”

I always stay at this hotel when I am doing business in Dongguan. The rooms are great and they now have wi-fi in the room. The Italian restaurant makes great pizzas and the bar is very comfortable. The location is central to everything I need.
