I am writing this review from my room because I can't sleep due to the cigarette stench in this 'non-smoking' hotel. If you don't like people leaving their doors open to shout down the corridor and smoke in the hallway, stay elsewhere.

Small room. It smells bad in my room. Breakfast is not good. Most of staffs do not speak English, you face difficult to deal with them. No refrigerator in room, you should ask reception. There is not Gym .

I stayed around a month attending a seminar in Marshal Palace hotel from July to August 2017. It is in the middle of the city like. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Close by to several shopping malls. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not luxurious. Food was good. Very few of the staff speaks English. Even though they don't speak English they are friendly and very helpful.

I stayed at Marshal Palace for couple weeks attending the training. The hotel is okay. Location is in the middle between the city center to the other malls or shop. The bus stop is in front of the hotel. Ask the staff if you wanna go out. But, they don't really speak English. The wifi is not good.

Stayed for 8 nights in May of 2014. There are some English speaking staff but not many. My wife kept calling and they would hang up on her instead of transferring the call Breakfasts were excellent. Lots of different types of food, from noodles and veggies to eggs and bacon. My favorite part was the pickle/chili bar Yum. Night time was interesting because of the kareoke/girl club up the escalator (very skimpy outfits and lots of wierd vibes). Every morning they put bananas in the room which was nice. The surrounding area is kind of rough, but Han Street is a short cab ride away.

Tiny airplane bathrooms. Hope you are not over six feet tall because the ceiling in the bathroom is just about six feet. I have bruises to prove it. Beds are hard as a rock. Hotel is not really for tourists especially foreigners.

I check in on 18-12-2011 for 4 days to 22-12-2011, the moment I check-in, the receiptionist wore my new passport, I was pissed off. The room that I have booked on-line was not acceptable, I change to a more higher rated room from RMB265-330.The room furniture is a little old, lighting not bright enough, morning breakfast mainly for domestic customers. By 9.30am, all the food are gone. Counter-girl do not speak English, photo that we have seen on-line are not what it is. Very disappointed, expecting a good stay but unfornuately not. I will not go back to this hotel in my life.

Got a good deal off the internet for this place, and were really pleased with what we found when we arrived. The room was clean. And it had a bath! Comfortable beds. Staff spoke limited English, but better than my Chinese! They were happy to hang on to our bags the following day after checkout. We had free internet (cable was delivered to our room after minutes of checking in), Good breakfast included in our room price. Not sure if it is a good location for sightseeing, but it was a great location for us- across the road is a big carrefour, we loved the vibe around the hotel - people dancing in the streets. Found a great place to eat (clean and no chicken bones) up the road. (Dont trust google maps for the location, and get a chinese person to write down the name in chinese, as there is no english signs outside)
