This hotel was probably the best hotel in Qingdao. Keyword being was. The rooms need a major renovation. Cracking fixtures, peeling paint and cigarette burns are now the standard. Stayed here during the coldest day in 2012 and the entire building had no heat. Somebody should take this place over and bring it back to its former luster

Room is good and toiletries is more than sufficient. Great view from the room. Variety of breakfast available on the 35th floor but the restaurant environment can be improved. 5 star for the room but 2 star for the restaurant.

The hotel is very, very comfortable. Excellent location, off downtown. From the back rooms - despite it is circular - it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the contiguous beach. Nice hotel. Great views from the room. Nice revolving restaurant for meals. Great bathrooms. English is an issue with the staff but otherwise they are very helpful. The foot massage in the spa was good.

Luckily was here to attend a conference for only one night. Was given the card key and found the room had not been cleaned. The front desk said they cannot tell if a room has been cleaned or not but I can put my luggage in the room until they clean it. As other reviewers stated, mold in all corners... More

The rooms are decent even if they show all their age, the cleaning is just average, the breakfast is messy and poor. The good things are the nice view of the ocean, the walking distance to the Exhibition / Show area and the next door Korean Restaurant, that is great!
