“Beautiful hotel but the rooms were disappointing.”

We toured with a group of 42 to Chengdu and everyone found the rooms a bit disappointing. Some rooms had no showers and the overall the rooms seemed old. The buffet was not bad. Good selection and the location was great but the Sheraton Lido would not be our top pick in Chengdu.

“Ok but not outstanding”

One feels the age of this hotel. Although clearly booked a non-smoking room they were not able to deliver a non-smoking room for us. “One of the best spots in Chengdu”

“Highly professional during earthquake”

The staff on duty at the Nova restaurant on the morning of April 20 showed a high degree of professionalism when the earthquake struck. They very calmly directed us to the assembly point. It was clear that they knew what they were doing. Well done Sheraton Lido Chengdu staff.

“Great location - but stay somewhere else”

The location can't get any better but everything else at this hotel needs to. This hotel is locked in the 1960's - from the decor to the customer service. Very disappointing. I couldn't wait to check out. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

“Why do 5 star hotels charge so much for WiFi in the room??”

This Sheraton is located right next to a large sports stadium but otherwise is well located near to the main squre and shopping streets.
