We were very excited about staying in this hostel. Both of us are hardy travelers who have traveled both together and separately and without accompaniment to such places as central Asia, Nicaragua, and the Tibetan regions in W. Sichuan, etc. While this was certainly not the dirtiest place either of us have ever stayed, it was up there. Considering the... More

Although the Secret Hostel is not in the centre, that should definitely not be a reason why you choose not to stay in such a wonderful hostel. With a perfectly simple Metro line and friendly locals getting around is easy. The hostel is quiet and a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day on the busy streets. The... More

Really nice hostel, on the outskirt of Medellin, away from city hectics, setting and views are great, not even mentioning the food. The room was a bit small for what you pay and it´s also a bit noisy. However, it is a beautiful place, the owners and staff were very helpful and we even went parapente with them - really... More

It is like 20 minutes away from the subway, except for that it is one wise choice. The staff is always ready for anything you can need.

We stayed here due to the fact that they mention on the website that there is a airport shuttle. I'm not sure if i would of utilised it knowing that it was 30000 more pesos than a taxi. The people running this have nice intentions but it seems quite expensive to me, all the meals served there are exorbitantly priced... More

The Secret Buddha is just outside of Medellin, in the hills just to the south. The place is uniquely decorated and has a nice view across the valley. The gardens surrounding it provide a buffer that makes this a great place to chill for few days. There is a nice shared kitchen and big TV room. We had the "yellow"... More

Very nice decorated hostel with friendly owners and dogs, and amazing garden. Location - not very central, but there is no such a thing as a center in Medellin. Safe, quiet and nice area, a lot of green around, though not many restaurants or bars. From the last stop of the subway you have to take a bus till the... More
