We had two rooms on 27 May 2013 and one of them was large with 3 beds for the children. Most of the rooms face the bay. The restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy the buffet breakfast in the morning while watching the water taxis running back and forth and the birds diving for fish. The rooms are well... More

Having stayed briefly last year we decided to stay for a week or so , We enjoyed it more the second time around . The hotel is spotless inside and out , it seemed there was always someone around to help . The restaurant is very good indeed and Teppi while some may find him a little reserved was always... More

We stayed at the Angermeyer Waterfront Inn from 5/20 through 5/27, and we could not have been happier. EVERYONE was amazing, making sure everything was to our satisfaction and asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. Teppy even helped us with our lost luggage delivered to us, when the airline wanted us to... More

I stayed 4 days with 14 other friends. The service was incredible. Marie Lou, the manager, is the best and helped us out with several requests, recommended us the best activities, booked us with the pest guides. Amazing service because of her and her staff. Highly recommended. Martin

With concerns about missing our Galapagos cruise on the Celebrity Xpedition we decided to fly into Baltra the day before the cruise departed and stay over night. This is a delightful hotel/inn overlooking the bay. The service was good and the breakfast buffet was beautifully laid out. The room that we were in was a bit small but more than... More

What a location. Harbor views, a short taxi-ride from town, and a eating and drinking area that is second to none. I didn't want to leave. The proprietor was on hand to make sure that everyone is enjoying his hotel. One day he even truly apologized for the rain. I really felt he was taking the blame. If your in... More

We spent 3 nights in the Angermeyer Waterfront Hotel after a Galapagos cruise. It was the perfect spot to rest after several days on a wonderful boat. We were greeted at the Baltra airport after our cruise and escorted by a local taxi driver hired by the hotel. He escorted us from airport to door. This involved a bus ride,... More

From the moment we exit the airport and were greeted by the Hotel pick-up service, to the moment we sat with the concierge upon arriving to the hotel, we had the feeling of being with old friends. They made transfers back and forth from the airport to the hotel (which involves 2 water taxis and a 1 hour car ride)... More

The views from our second floor balcony were unbelievable, the views from docks are great. The staff was very helpful in making any arrangements that were needed before our stay and while on the Island. Definitely a place worth staying at when you make this trip and long trip down to the Island was made better by staying here!

You won't want to leave. I sure didn't. I stayed in the "Boobie" suite, a second floor, two-bedroom / 1 bath suite overlooking the water. It was perfect. Very comfortable bed, extremely clean and the staff could not have been better. I was doing a lot of diving while in Puerto Ayora but had scheduled a few days without diving... More

It was a pleasure to have you as our guest and we do appreciate your thorough review which explained about some of the issues with the water taxis and airport transfers. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and invite you or your family and friends to visit us in the future. Elsie More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
We are situated right at the waterfront, which provides a splendid view of the bay and the interior of the island of Santa Cruz – as well as a convenient place for taking a swim. The final phase of construction was finished in 2009, and our hotel is a natural first-choice for quality travellers. A short 100 meter walk along a path takes you to a small beach. There is an ocean view from 13 of the 16 rooms. Due to the restrictions of the National Park it is not possible to walk to the hotel. Instead it can easily be reached by a 2-minute water-taxi ride right to our door. We have a beautiful wooden deck built out over the water where we serve lunches as well as dinner by candlelight. From the deck we often see sea turtles, sea lions and iguanas swimming past. Pelicans, frigate birds and blue-footed boobies are always our visitors. We offer full bar service as well. ... more   less
