The best thing about this place was the people who ran it and the silence at night. Rooms were very basic but clean enough. There was the odd mosquito. Not much choice around that i could see for cheopo backpackers, the nubian??? hotel across from where the local bus stops wanted 80LE for a room but i chose to stay At the village as the guy there was freindly enough and spoke good english which was helpful. Very basic and not very clean room....i did walk to the temples...
