Luved this place! It's very clean and organic as all the foods are freshly grown and prepared! Being surrounded by mountains with unspoilt natural flora & fauna--this place rejuvenates (thanks NO POLLUTION and abundance clean air& ahhhh the natural fresh food--best part of the meal when you end it as the deserts are equally yummy!!)----you'll feel like a new person!... We spent the end of our Fijian holiday at Palmlea and we saved the best til last. We flew in from Nadi and the drive to the resort was a bit bumpy after the rains but when we arrived you could feel any stress evaporate. You can do as much or as little as you like and we decided on... More

My husband and I recently held our wedding at Palmlea Farms. We also booked accommodation for ourselves and my parents and sister. Considering we only booked one week before our wedding they did a wonderful job. They decorated the main villa in traditional fijian style, organised the food, drink, and wedding cake. The cake was a delicious coconut cake! Palmlea... More

Living in Fiji, Palmlea is our regular getaway spot. It's off the beaten track but still very accessible. The setting is stunning- you will see a part of Fiji that not many visitors get to enjoy, the staff are friendly and very personable (there are only a few bures so you will get to know them all!), the food is... This is a bit late review. We were there last October. Julie and Joe were not only friendly, but also excellent hosts. We loved them! Their staff (the chief and handyman) were the best! Foods were freshly cooked each day and delicious. Must try their goat curry. I'm salvating just thinking about it... =|* We had activities every day. They... More

Stunning setting off the beaten track but reasonably accessible, particularly by boat. If you want an anonymous resort with all mod cons, don't come here. But if you're looking for genuine hospitality and personal service, plus amazing meals from home grown produce supplemented with whatever comes off the boat that day, then Palmlea is heaven. The eco-credentials mean no air-con,... More

This place is definitely worth the extra effort to get there. We rented a four-wheel drive in Labasa and the car came in handy on our little coastal explorations. It's a farm settled into a beautiful landscape and the owners seem to truly care about their guests. They only have a few bures, so you get plenty of exclusivity. Joe,... More

A friend took me to Palmlea to go surfing. The track to the farm was even worse than the Fijian roads to Labasa, so it was quite unexpected to see such a delightful and cared for resort. yhe owners, Joe and Julie, are old yachties and full of tales of their years spent sailing around Micronesia. We ordered Pizza while... More

Spent the weekend at Palmlea with a bunch of old friends and had a blast! The food is amazing...curries, pizza's, local fijian dishes and delicious deserts amongst others.... Hardest thing each day is deciding what to eat! We hired the "BUS" as Jo calls it their boat and spent the days boating around fishing, surfing, snorkelling, loads of fun!!! Thanks... More

I have visited Palmlea Farms twice and can highly recommend it. The location opens up access to great surf, diving and snorkelling. Julie and Joe are the nicest hosts you could imagine. This part of Fiji is not visited by large numbers of visitors and yet the reefs and the sea around this location compare with anything else in the... More
